Who We Are

At SafeTiva, we’re self-proclaimed science nerds, on a mission to optimize the relationship between cannabis growers and their lab analysis. We believe testing should go beyond the minimum mandates—from a transactional formality, to a collaborative partnership. With enhanced testing and comparative market analysis, our services exceed state requirements, giving cannabis producers expert insights on their products. We consider ourselves more than a compliance lab—we are partners in your growth— putting the best product on the shelf, every time.

We are a woman-led company and our team has extensive cannabis testing and growing experience. Whatever your question, we have someone who can help you. Reach out to us and we’ll put you in touch with the right person.

What We Believe

We believe science can inspire change, and we’re committed to modeling accountability and advocating for justice in our community. We recognize that our business profits from a drug that disproportionately incarcerates people of color. The ACLU concluded in 2020 that despite equal usage rates, black Americans were 3.64 times more likely than white Americans to be arrested for marijuana possession. As our social responsibility to give back, we contribute legal fees for record expungement and support those in our community disproportionately impacted by the war on drugs.

We believe every adult should have access to the medicinal benefits of cannabis and we advocate for programs that subsidize cannabis for veterans and those with economic hardship or disability.

We believe in elevating diversity, equity, and inclusion within the scientific community. Our diversity efforts include teaming with MWBE partners and enhancing the diversity of our own staff.
