Liz received her Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry & Cellular Biology from UMASS, and was offered a research assistantship to obtain her Master’s in Molecular & Cellular Biology. After working at Yale and Mass Medical, Liz returned to her Western MA roots and took a position as a technical specialist responsible for scientific equipment for Amherst College. Liz has joined the SafeTiva team as our lead Molecular Biologist. Liz cares deeply for her family and friends and beings that same passion to the work that she does at SafeTiva as she tells it, “I am proud to be at the forefront of those efforts with a company dedicated to thorough, accurate and timely testing so clients and the public can feel confident in a safe product.”
Residing locally, Liz and her partner Brian are avid pool players for the American Pool Players Association and she has competed nationally in several tournaments. When she’s not playing pool, you’ll find her outside by the pool, grilling or playing cornhole. Liz is also mom to a “goofy” rescue dog, Marshall, who has become SafeTiva’s official mascot.
